May 17 Wednesday

Math- Chris said his flute was part wood, part German steel. Lunch- Diane, Janet and I went to the Civic Center under the trees, then to the old part in the aud. English- sat at the back with Jane, she look at my photo album. She was doing Biology. Science- Chris asked me to draw a diagram of my basement, so I drew it on the desk, and he drew one. He was acting abit weird. After we got out 5 minutes early, he and I went up the hall near his locker to the Cycle 1 Science Fair (Zap). nite- Gillian came over at 7, then Ralph and Danielle. We talked (sex ed movies, the trip to Ottawa). Not much happened.

 

May 18 Thursday

At my locker Chris T came up, he had a new jacket. He and I commented on how coooool it was. He gave me his money (check) for the Ottawa trip. Math- talked to Racine about Grade 7 (ha). Gym(spare)- walked to the Civic Center with Ralph for about 5 minutes, then he went back to class and I went to the library. Then Andy, Brian Finch and I went to the Civic Center and met Dave, sat in the same place as May 11 (gym). Lunch- Lesley and I met Diane, Dave and Andy at the Civic Center, sat at the opposite end of the pool building from the trees. Diane and Dave were tripping. Andy left, we sat on Lesley's buns. Art- it was hot in the class. Drew a cat (a real one). Christine had a friend in ( a guy). English- I duked it. Christine, her friend and I went to the Civic Center. Couldn't find anyone. Lesley came so we went to the Pits, because we could see Diane and Dave on the far side on the cliffs. We sat on the side of the Pits closest to Maywood and Diane and Dave came over. Sat and talked, some guy came up on his motorcycle and asked for a smoke, stayed awhile. Science- Chris drew a motorcycle, we both drew.

 

May 19 Friday

Chris T not here [J.R.]. Math- drew insulting beer things on the board (Moeson's, Fagelberg). Gym(spare)- went to the Pits with Ralph, just at the entrance from Maywood we saw someone playing golf-it was Chris T. He said he told his old lady he didn't feel well, so she said he didn't have to go to school, but had to get some fresh air. Ralph and I sat on a hill and Chris came and sat with us. Ralph and I went to the other side of the Pits and Chris went back to playing golf. Then Dave and Ralph Eastman came. Lunch- Christine and I went to the Pits to find someone, then back to the Civic Center and met Andy. We all went back to the Pits to the field beyond the cliffs and found Dave, Diane and Lesley. Sat and talked. After school went up to Fairview with my sister Sue and got the album "Thick as a Brick" by Jethro Tull [if you want to recreate the sound of this month for us, this album and T-Rex's self titled one (released December 1970) (56) are all you need]. Sat in the Drop-In awhile. nite- Gillian and Jennifer came over, then Ralph, Andy and Danielle. Fought over the green rocking chair, went outside in the backyard (played Tag, Hide and go seek etc (ha!)). Went inside, played the ash game. They left at 11.

 

May 20 Saturday

Fantastic day. My parents are gone from today to Monday [at the farm]. At 12 Gillian and Abby came over (my sister Sue, Diane and Tommy were here but left at about 12:15), Danielle came at about 12:35 and Dave and Diane at 12:50. We watched 'Star Trek' from 12:30 to 1:30, they played cards, didn't do much 'till about 5:10 when Ralph and Andy came. We phoned Chris to see if he was coming, I talked, Gillian breathed heavy and Dave yelled obscene things. Went up to my room, Chris Todd came, ordered pizza and went to the kitchen to eat it. It looked disgusting. Went to the livingroom, watched all the movies, played 'Killer', went outside to the backyard and played 'Tag' (ha!). Watched 'Henry VIII' on TV. Chris likes Gillian, they were arm in arm, Chris's arm around her, they were in my room etc. About 10 Foster Tilden and his friend came in and had a joint, they left about 20 minutes later. Went outside at times. Gillian told me to talk to Chris, because she doesn't really like him (she is going out with Alan Walker). I talked to him along in my room, he said he liked her, but not to go out with her, most likely because she gave him the impression she didn't like him. He said the real reason he was away yesterday was because he fell off a motorbike in the Pits Thursday afternoon. Ralph, Danielle, Andy, Dave and Diane left about 11:20 and Gillian, Chris and Abby about 11:40. An 11+1/2 hour fucking party.
