May 21 Sunday

Chris phoned about 11:50 and said he would be late (about 1-1:30). At 12:20 Gillian and Abby came over, sat in the livingroom, at 12:50 Dave and Diane came, Dave was wearing shorts. At 1 Chris came, we initiated into the Moo-Moo club, went I had finished I went into the kitchen laughing, and he jumped on my back. Sat outside in the front lawn with the movie camera (no film). Went inside, Dave and Gillian switched shirts. Andy came about 4? Played the Beatles, about 5:45 Gillian, Abby and Chris left for dinner. Dave made 4 little pizzas and Diane, Andy and he ate them, then Diane and Andy washed the dishes (shock!). At about 6:30 Ralph and Danielle came, sat on the front lawn, about 6:45 Chris came and at 7 Gillian and Abby. Chris T set off a few firecrackers, went in and watched 'Mod Squad' (57). Went up to my room about 8:30, later Ralph, Danielle, Abby and Andy went to the store, Dave, Gillian and Chris went downstairs without lights, so Diane [who saw seeing Dave at this time, though it seems they were more LSD buddies than anything else] and I shone the floodlight on them from the diningroom, then we shone it from outside, Dave whipped off his pants. The others came back from the store. Gillian wants me to tell Chris to fuck-off. Gillian and Abby left at 10:05, Chris at 10:10. Dave, Diane and Andy at 10:25. Ralph, Danielle and I watched the first part of a witch movie, then they left at 11.

 

May 22 Monday Holiday (58)

Walked to the Pits, met Gillian and Abby at the falls, then Ralph came. I went for a walk towards the pits, met Danielle, she went to the falls. On the way back Chris came on his bike, went back to the falls. Chris went riding, came back for matches then left. I started to go for another walk when I saw Lesley, Judy (?) and other guys ["Red Alert!". It was now Lesley's turn to be excluded] so Danielle, Abby, Ralph, Gillian and I left the falls and walked through the woods, we ended up at the motorcycle pits. Met Andy, he, Ralph and I went to the falls to see if anyone was there. I sat on the cliff alone to watch motorcycles [yeah ok, and Chris]. Went back to the field and Diane, Ralph, Andy, Danielle, Gillian and Abby were there. Chris came and sat, we sent him to the Civic Center for more water. He came back about 20 minutes later with water and icecubes, he had gone home. Then he left again. Everyone went to the falls except for Diane, Danielle and I and we talked. About 1/2 hour later they came back (Andy left), abit later Danielle, Diane and I went across the pits and sat on the rocks, then Abby, Gillian and Ralph came. Chris came up on his bike. We decided to leave and Chris followed, stood awhile at the entrance. Chris came with Gillian, Abby and I down Maywood, left at 4.

 

May 23 Tuesday

Sat in my History room at with Janet and Diane, could see Chris in his Geog class. Kept falling down when I tried to get up (fooling around of course). Math- got out at 9:45, went to my locker, Chris came up, said I had a weird locker (because of the writing in it on the door "Howdy Fuck Face - a crawly was here Jan 10/72" written by Mike). I went out and sat and leaned up against a fire hydrant facing St John's and had a smoke. Chris came out and sat with me. Lunch- Diane and I went to the Civic Center under the trees. Andy came, then Janet and friend. We watched people get thrown in the fountain. Dave came, talked. Art- helped bring paint into the storage room. On some paint jars was a sign saying "Bugger off this Paint". After I wrote on Chris's locker "Try Goodies, they're fun - alias me". Science- Chris kept trying to get my pencil to draw a motorcycle. He ripped a paper I had, so I poked him on the arm with my sharp pencil.

 

May 24 Wednesday

Diane had some new acid at my locker. It's small (‚), very thin, brown and clear, it's called 'Clearview'. Diane also had the poster "Stoned Again" of a guy's head melting. Chris was there when she dropped some 'goodies'. Math- Racine still defending sports. I snuck out 2 minutes before the bell rang. I was at my locker and Chris came up and said I had a "D". Lunch- Janet and I met Dave, Diane and Christine at the Civic Center under the trees. Dave had Diane's bra (she wasn't wearing one). Andy came, then Sue [probably Dave's sister?]. Bought a popcycle from a guy who was selling them. On the way in Christine and I met Chris who had a lacrosse racket. After Art I wrote on Chris's locker "A pusher's locker". Science- tried to figure out my timetable [for the next year], Chris is going to try to get some of the same classes as me. Went to Lang's "D", he only kept me 5 minutes. but I still had to walk home.

 

 

 

57. We also saw on the news that Michelangelo's Pietà had been damaged by a hammer swinging madman.

 

58. Nixon was on a state visit to Russia at this time.
