April 11 Tuesday

Math- Chris, Christine and I told elephant and other jokes. Gym- still can't remember my combo, stayed in the locker room all period [lucky boy]. Walked around and tried to open my lock, at the end we threw towels at each other. Lunch- Christine, Lesley, Janet, Dave and I went outside the door near Woodworking for a smoke. Art- still painting, Chris T came up. I said he could have the honour of destroying it with the paint brush. Science- I splashed Chris T with wet paper, so he sprayed me by forcing the water from the tap in one direction, hitting me and Renwick. He was acting weird, near the end talked to him and Scott Pride about acid. nite- went to the United Church, met Don and Lesley. Stood outside awhile then went to Sandi's. Played cards in the front hall, walked home.

 

April 12 Wednesday Strike Holiday

Walked to Ralph's, talked to Brenda and a friend at the phone booth across from school on the way. Danielle (at Ralph's), Ralph and I played cards. Lesley and Sandi came, we all went to the shops, talked to the teachers [picketing] in the City Hall parking lot. Sat outside Woolworth's, Don came. He left about 45 minutes later very mad because Lesley was ignoring him. On the way home passed Scott Pride and friends, he said "How you feeling, Al?" (yesterday Science). nite- walked to Ralph's with Lesley. Judy, Danielle and Dave there. Alan, Gillian and Don came, Lesley and Don fought. At 10 went upstairs and watched 'Night Gallery' (except Lesley, Alan and Gillian. Lesley stayed downstairs and G+A left). Got a drive home with Lesley.

 

April 13 Thursday Strike Holiday

Got a drive with Lesley to Ralph's, Danielle there. Played cards, fought over blankets, had pillow fights. Lesley is a munchkin (smaller than Ralph). Lesley and I walked to the shops at 5:45 (shouldn't have-shitty weather). At 6 Lesley phoned her father, he came at 7:20.

 

April 14 Friday Strike Holiday

Ralph came over, then Lesley, then Danielle, then Dave. Did movie about a killer and another with sound. Did a tape of killer and the opera. Dave forgot to sign the door. nite- walked to Lesley's, Ralph, Danielle and Dave came. Made more of the movie [including a shot of Lesley's mother]. About 9:50 we were going to Perette's, but Ralph and I hid behind the car. At 10 Don came, made Lesley cry. Ralph and I did a killer opera. April 14 - the night of the Jethro Tull concert at the Forum, which Gillian attended

 

April 15 Saturday

Got picked up by Lesley, picked up Ralph and went to Fairview. Argued whether or not to go to Dave's. Went to the Drop-In, had to drag Lesley (literally). Ralph was playing with a broom there. Went back in Fairview, then back to the Drop-In, played cards there. Got a drive home with Ralph. nite- Lesley and I got a drive up to the Pierrefonds Arena, a show with a bunch of groups (Magoo, Hill, Mahogany Rush). We met Christine and the American guy Richard [Hilljones?]. They had a strobe light. Saw Linda from Lachine (March 24) and said "hi", saw Grace Roberts and Dave Webb (both wiped). Left at 12:30am, got a drive with Lesley.

 

April 16 Sunday

Ralph and Danielle came over, sat in the livingroom and watched the hockey game. Lesley and Sandi came, filmed the rest of the movie with sound [by recording an audio track and hoping it ran at the same speed as the film later, which it rarely did]. Played cards, played chess with Danielle (she won of course). Lesley and Sandi left at 5, Ralph and Danielle at 5:30.

 

April 17 Monday Strike Holiday

Lesley and Judy came over, I shot Lesley with plaster in the airgun and she got mad [I should hope so]. Dave, Ralph and Danielle came. I got records from my room and everyone came with me. Judy left, she didn't feel well. Played cards, didn't do much.
