Gillian came over, sat in the den. She watched soap operas with my mother most of the time. Tried to watch Wild Wild West, but it wasn't on.

Thanks for the letter (and envelope). I noticed you took your time mailing the letter since the drawing are dated July 28 and the postmark says August 4.

 

You scared me with that guess who's back in the group thing. At first I didn't realize that it was multiple choice and that all those people were back in the group.

 

By the way, if you people are planning to go to T-Rex on Sept 8 and haven't already got your tickets, could you perhaps order an extra pair (two:2) of tickets for it (my sister) and myself. I assure you that I will be able to get the money to pay you back. Don't worry, I will have returned by that time. (maybe you should worry). Anyway I'm sick of writing in the car so I will end this letter.

August 15 Tuesday

Walked to Gillian's in the afternoon, she was working on a silkscreen checker design in the study. Watched TV, about 4:45 Diane came over in her car (she was driving, she got her license), Lesley, Judy and Dave were in it. She gave me a ride home. nite- walked to Lesley's, she had a duck. Gillian came. Lesley's father drove us to the Dorval Community Center, didn't do much. I took a Shire poster. Near the end sat on the ping-pong tables and talked about Lesley thinking she wasn't wanted. [given the events of the past three months her fears were understandable]...Emerson, Lake and Palmer played the Forum this night.

 

August 16 Wednesday

Walked to Gillian's, sat in the study. Watched TV, Don came, talked. Went to the Black Cat for food. Left about 5:30 with Don. nite- Dave and Diane came over about 6:45, sat in the basement. Gillian came, played cards. Lesley, Sandi and some guy came. Talked about dreams. They left at 11.

 

August 17 Thursday

About 2 I walked to Sandi's, went in next door. Lesley was there babysitting. Then Lesley and I walked to Lesley's, sat in the kitchen. I left at 5:30.

 

August 18 Friday

Went to Fairview at 1, met Gillian on the bus. Got the record 'T-Rex', took pictures. nite- Diane came over, played cards in the basement. Gillian came, then Judy. Made tapes, Judy left, talked. They left at 11.

 

August 19 Saturday

Diane came over, then Gillian and Abby. I washed my hair and dried it in the livingroom. nite- they left, Gillian came back and Lesley, Sandi and Bob [Holmes] came over. Didn't do much. PS- my parents gone until Aug 27.

 

August 20 Sunday

Gillian and Diane came over, played Rummy for money all afternoon. Gillian left and Diane stayed for dinner. Gillian came back and we continued playing. Chris phoned, he's back from camp. He told me not to tell anyone. At the end we owed Gillian $8.55 but she said we didn't have to pay. Lesley, Bob, Sandi and a guy came. They left at 11.
