Terry Wilkinson (104) was a friendly, cute blond boy I followed around for a few weeks in October and November.(105)
October 24 Wednesday (106)
Larry, Rob, Andy, Terry, another? and I were at Cedar Park, then at the old historic house near John Rennie where the teacher Mr. Bucannan had meetings with students (for the 'Man and Society' (107) class. Rob, Ralph and Michelle Jorden were friends of his at this time). We went to McDonald's in Dollard (a hang-out, like after the Drop-In). We were probably noisy, and I think someone put a paper joint in Mayor McCheese's mouth. A cop came in, and as we left, he followed us out. Terry took off, leaving Rob, Larry, Andy and I. It seems Larry put his drugs under Rob's car. Rob and I both had our cars there and the police trapped them with a cruiser and a van. We were searched and so were the cars. I had to remove my shoes and socks and roll up my pants, the lining of my coat was searched. They found no drugs, so one cop waved his fist in my face and said "Where's the drugs, kid?!" Meanwhile they'd found a radio in Rob's car and assumed he'd stolen it (which he hadn't). He got angry, they got rough and threw him in the van (the radio story they told us later). They found no drugs (lucky for us) and left. They wore no badges.
(Andy's) October 26, Friday
I've decided to end it with Jan. I don't imagine she'll be at all upset. Going around with a girl just screws up my head (she likes Ralph anyway).
Anyway, there was supposed to have been a dance at Pierrefonds Arena tonight. Alan picked me up at MacDonald's. Larry, Sue, Heather, Louise and Maggie were already in the car. All the girls were tripping except Heather, and she had done some mesc. So had I (Ralph + Dave were at Dave's, tripping).
We headed up to the arena but there was no dance there. The guy said that maybe it was across the road at P.C. So we drove in there but there was no dance. We were just about to leave when Alan's car boiled over! Well, no problem, we were all pretty ripped out. Alan, Sue, Maggie, Heather sat on the trunk for awhile. Larry fell asleep for a bit. Had a good time.
When the car was cooled-off we went to a gas station + got her filled up with water. Then we went to Fairview for awhile, where we met Joanne Decker + Dave Hughes. Both of them were pissed. Joanne was falling all over everybody except Dave which pretty much screwed up his head. However, when we left they were back together.
The group went to Blue Haven where we met Brian Sage + friends. We bought some beer + went out into the fields behind T-bar Ranch on St John's + drank a little. Eventually it was me, Larry, Louise + Maggie. We split about 12:00 and I got a long good-bye kiss from both girls.
Larry + me went home (Larry crashed here ) Peter + Dave Avery were sitting downstairs watching 'Frogs'. Dave smoked us two joints of excellent weed. Got very stoned.
All in All, a very good nite [of which I have no memory what so ever...]
104. As Ralph reminded me in May, 1994, Terry's life took a bad turn. He was abused at home, once he was pulled around by his hair so badly that the scalp pulled away from the scull. About 1975? he was at a party, and was diving off the roof into the pool. He hit his head, and ended up paralyzed in a wheelchair...
105. There was also another blond boy I had a crush on at this period, named Jay Brothers. We would talk together occasionally. He had beautiful eyes.
106. The USA and Russia went on high alert over events in the Middle East.
107. A sideline about the Man and Society class (which I wasn't in). There was a guy in it with the nickname "Buffalo". Later he and another guy (both on mescaline) were breaking into a house in Dollard, when they awoke the woman living there. In their panic they killed her...
